- Focused on delivery of technically innovative and challenging projects in the Australian and international context, on REE, Copper-Gold, Base Metal, SX-EW.
- Experience and training in all main areas encountered in the development of small to medium mining projects and management of all stakeholders.
Senior Principal Metallurgist and Mineral Process Engineering
Peter Hinner
- Mining and mineral processing professional with 30 years' experience in the heavy minerals, iron sands, magnetite, titanomagnetite, dredging and alluvial gold industries both within Australia and internationally.
- Tertiary qualified with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with post graduate qualifications in Metallurgy and Business Management.
- Significant mining, operating and project management experience in most facets of the industry including dredging, processing, exploration, resource development, engineering design, construction, commissioning, pilot plants, mine rehabilitation, due diligence and feasibility studies as well as a knowledge of alluvial gold mining and processing.
- Over the past several years have worked predominantly as a project development consultant on a variety of projects in Sierra Leone, North Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Ecuador, Peru, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Chile.
- Previous roles have also included senior management and operational roles in several of the world's largest mineral sands mining operations as well as mine management roles with BP Minerals Indonesia, general manager of an industrial minerals company and senior mining consultant for KPMG.
